Summer in Orange County means it’s time to get outside and enjoy some of the best events the season offers. I’ve spent many summers exploring these vibrant communities, from catching live music in Dana Point to strolling art festivals in Laguna Beach. These events not only bring the community together but also create memories that last a lifetime. Whether you're planning for the weekend or looking for something fun tonight, this guide has you covered with my favorite local picks and insider tips.
 

Aliso Viejo

1. AVCA Summer Series 2025

Enjoy concerts and movie nights at Grand Park. Dates and performers to be announced soon.

  • Concerts in the Park
    Free, family-friendly concerts featuring two bands at Sea Terrace Park (PCH & Niguel Rd) on select Sundays. Food and beverages available for purchase.

    Local Insight: I always recommend arriving early to snag a spot near the water – the sunset views during the concerts are absolutely magical!
  • OC Parks Summer Concert Series at Salt Creek Beach
    Enjoy two free outdoor concerts at Bluff Park with live music from exceptional bands. Bring your chairs and blankets for a fun evening.

  • Ohana Festival
    September 26–28, 2025 at Doheny State Beach. Over 35 performances across three stages featuring diverse acts.

    Local Insight: This festival always brings the community together in a special way. It's one of my favorite ways to enjoy live music by the beach.
  • Seaside Sessions – Live Music Series
    Live acoustic performances every Thursday from 4PM-6PM at The Wharf starting June 5th.

  • Summer Concert Series
    Concerts every two weeks at Crown Valley Park Amphitheater starting June 6, 2025, at 6:30 PM (5:30 PM on July 4). Food trucks and free shuttle from City Hall available.
    Local Insight: The free shuttle service makes getting there hassle-free—perfect if you want to avoid parking stress and enjoy a drink.
  • Sea Country Festival
    Community event with live music, rides, and more. Dates to be announced.

  • Summer Concert Series
    Thursdays, July 10 to August 14, 2025, at San Clemente Pier and Linda Lane Park. All concerts start at 6:00 PM.
