FivePoint Amphitheatre

Live music is back in Irvine at the open-air FivePoint Amphitheatre! The venue features a large lawn courtyard, food trucks, and a festival-like atmosphere. Every summer, you’ll find a lineup of well-known artists, from Brad Paisley to Rascal Flatts. There’s no better way to enjoy a warm Orange County evening than at a show under the stars.

If you love stand-up comedy, Irvine Spectrum’s Improv brings in top comedians and rising stars every week. Grab dinner at Javier’s or another Spectrum restaurant before heading in for a night of laughs. This is my go-to spot for a fun date night, and Amir K is one of our family favorites!

The Great Park Farmer’s Market

Every Sunday, the Great Park Farmer’s Market is a local favorite for fresh produce, flowers, and artisan goods. I love shopping here with my family—many vendors are local farmers or makers from right in Orange County. The market is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., so you can enjoy a relaxed morning and stock up for the week.

The Great Park also hosts Family Game Days every Saturday, plus a variety of classes, camps, and seasonal activities. My kids love the giant chess board and open lawns, and we often bring a picnic and spend the day. There’s truly something for all ages!

Tanaka Farms Harvest Festival

Tanaka Farms is famous for its strawberry and watermelon tours, fall pumpkin patch, and monthly harvest festivals. It’s a must-visit for families who love picking their own fruits, wagon rides, and delicious food straight from the farm. Don’t miss the cauliflower tacos at the Tanaka Grill!
